Sellers are responsible for ensuring that the products they intend to sell comply with all legal requirements before being listed on the sales platform, and that they are approved for listing and available for sale according to BRICOMAN’s terms and policies. For sellers’ convenience, BRICOMAN provides the following illustrative (non-exhaustive) guide to prohibited and restricted products that are not allowed for sale on the BRICOMAN platform. BRICOMAN will update this guide as needed, and sellers are encouraged to check this page regularly for the latest information.
If a seller violates this Prohibited and Restricted Products Policy, they may be subject to various adverse actions, including but not limited to:
Deletion of listed products or information
Restriction of account permissions
Suspension or termination of the account
Freezing of account funds, or direct deduction of account funds to compensate for BRICOMAN’s losses, if necessary
Legal action
Guns, ammunition, weapons, and imitation weapons
Devices capable of temporarily disabling another person and causing serious bodily harm
Firearms, ammunition, weapons-related equipment, accessories, auxiliary products, and counterfeit handicrafts
Regulated knives, crossbow accessories, swinging staffs, darts, axes, blow darts, bleeding groove knives, and other implements that may endanger personal safety, as well as personal defense electric shock devices
Self-defense equipment such as spray cans and liquid sprayers that may be harmful to the human body
Police and military uniforms, badges, equipment, and products
Products or information related to religion, race, or anti-religious beliefs
Flammable and explosive materials
Highly toxic chemicals
Medicines, medicinal ingredients, chemical drugs, narcotic drugs
Fireworks and firecrackers
Hazardous chemicals banned from sale nationally or regionally
Smoking tools and accessories
Guidance documents and books describing the manufacture of flammable or explosive materials
Reactionary content, undermining national unity, infringing sovereignty or territorial integrity, disrupting social stability, involving state secrets, disturbing social order, inciting terrorism or extremism, inciting national hatred, undermining national unity, promoting superstition, religion, or racism, or books, audiovisual products, videos, and documents prohibited by law, or those removed or banned by the government
Products and information that damage national honor or reputation, distort, defame, deny heroes or martyrs’ deeds, embellish invasion history, or promote militaristic ideology
Political books, periodicals, and confidential materials, audiovisual products, videos, and documents unsuitable for domestic distribution
Stamps prohibited by the state or produced without postal authority approval, and stamps issued after 1949 with the words “People of China”
Pornographic and obscene products, advertisements, or sexual services
Oral or topical aphrodisiacs, artificial hymens, triazolam, “fly powder,” aphrodisiac fluids, and related sex toys that can temporarily incapacitate or render a person unconscious
Software, images, audio, or video products that spread pornographic content, as well as vulgar, violent, or obscene underwear and related products
Anime, reading materials, games, and images containing pornographic, violent, or vulgar content
Vulgar products available online
Devices or software used to monitor or steal privacy or secrets
Equipment for illegal recording, filming, or evidence collection
Equipment for reading or checking ID cards
Software, tools, or instructions to steal or hack account passwords
Services providing personal phone tracking, contact list queries, bank account queries, etc.
Selling, transferring, or recycling expired or debt-used bank cards
Car seatbelt buckles and other accessories that may pose traffic safety risks
Psychotropic drugs, anesthetics, poisons, radioactive drugs, stimulants, family planning drugs; non-medicinal products containing medicinal ingredients; drugs banned by regulatory authorities (unless specifically approved)
Drugs, blood products, or medical devices used for disease prevention or treatment, manufactured or imported without approval or inspection
Injectable cosmetic products such as whitening injections, fat-dissolving injections, filler injections, and slimming injections
Counterfeiting or altering documents, certificates, seals, anti-counterfeit labels, or services only provided by authorities
Invoices or foreign trade documents still in use for refunds or customs clearance
National official exams that have not been publicly announced
Feudal superstition services, e.g., fortune-telling, rescue, feng shui, rituals
Vehicle violation agency services
Writing and exam-related services
Advertising blog or website popularity, product popularity, or voting
Legal, psychological, financial, or online doctor consulting services
Publicly issued stocks, bonds, or other securities
Welfare or sports lotteries, except where legally permissible for debt collection
Human body parts or remains
Live animals, organs, limbs, fur, specimens, or other products of nationally/regionally protected or endangered species, extinct animal fossils, or Level II+ protected animals
Nationally protected live plants
Terrestrial wild animals protected by the state or with economic or scientific value, including body parts, organs, limbs, feathers, or specimens
Electric fishing equipment and accessories
Dog and cat meat, dog and cat fur, shark fins, bear bile, and related products
Smuggling, theft, robbery, or other illegal gains
Gambling devices, cheating devices, car timers, and other illegal equipment
Satellite signal transceivers or signal-jamming devices, software, and tools
Cracking tools, services, and manuals
Multi-number cards, wireless network cards, and devices for online access
Software suspected of fraud or other illegal purposes
Products used to evade traffic control
Light powered by telephone lines
SMS, emails, software, and services used illegally
Pirated or counterfeit products
Products infringing intellectual property or other rights
Products a user has no legal right to dispose of
Illegal pyramid schemes
Counterfeit currency and printing equipment
Circulating currency or counterfeit money from multiple countries, including RMB
Cultural relics violating the Cultural Relics Protection Law
Tobacco products and specialized machinery
Illegal fundraising products
Unauthorized licensed products for Olympics, World Expo, Asian Games, etc.
Cigarette labels, packs, cards, boxes
Currency exchange services
Postal parcels, EMS, courier documentation, and tracking numbers
State-subsidized or freely distributed goods not to be transferred privately
Military supplies, government agency supplies
Radio equipment
Unregistered online games, game points, virtual currencies, and related services
Products involving game plugins or private servers
Officially discontinued game point or platform cards
Virtual lottery products
Virtual service products without time tracking
Account protection services such as account deactivation or death protection
User iTunes accounts and top-up products
Automatically delivered package cards or face-value package cards
Virtual刷单 services
Products not eligible for mobile bill installment payment
Network price cards, SIM cards with no time/traffic limits
Slow-charge cards or virtual goods not physically receivable within 72 hours
Consumer goods businesses
Domain names, email addresses
Virtual currency deposited in overseas accounts
Bitcoin, Litecoin, Yuanbao coins, and other cryptocurrency transactions
Scientific, banking, internet, or unlicensed software, shared software, beta or unpublished versions, decryption software
Virtual services such as insurance or contract services
Network-breaking software, firewall circumvention, or VPN proxy services
Products from unqualified manufacturers or not meeting national, local, industry, or enterprise standards
Products recalled by authorities or manufacturers, expired, invalid, or perishable goods, or foods, spices, or skincare products containing poppy seeds
Software or services disrupting platform operations, e.g., flash sale tools
Product labels, certifications, or content not complying with regulations
Mobile direct dial cards and services, callback cards and services
SIM card stickers with jailbreak functions
Export-restricted products
Products requiring state or government authorization (e.g., cable TV, satellite dishes)
Alarm devices not approved or prohibited by authorities
Lifetime free pagers (including stock and digital)
Other products strictly prohibited by law or considered unsuitable for sale by BRICOMAN
In addition to the above, any product prohibited from import or export within the jurisdiction of the buyer and/or seller is illegal or restricted, or used in illegal/restricted activities, and is considered a prohibited or restricted product. For products requiring special business permits, sellers must provide supporting documents to BRICOMAN in advance and review the buyer’s eligibility. BRICOMAN assumes no responsibility or liability for this.
If you discover products violating BRICOMAN policies, click “Report this product” or “Report this user” from the product or user dropdown menu to report it to BRICOMAN. Confirmed violations will result in email, system message, and push notifications to sellers, informing them that the products have been removed from BRICOMAN, and notifications will be sent to buyers.
