Refund and Return Policy

1. Return/Refund

Subject to this Refund and Return Policy and the terms and conditions in the Terms of Service, buyers may apply for a return and/or refund from BRICOMAN within the warranty period specified in the Terms of Service. The BRICOMAN Guarantee is a service provided by BRICOMAN to assist users in resolving disputes that may arise during the transaction process. Users may resolve disputes privately with one another or contact the relevant local authorities before, during, or after using BRICOMAN to resolve any conflicts.

2. Return Application

Buyers may only apply for a refund or return in the following cases:

  • The buyer did not receive the goods;

  • The goods are defective and/or damaged upon delivery;

  • The seller delivers goods that do not meet the agreed specifications (e.g., wrong size, color, etc.);

  • The delivered goods materially differ from the seller’s description in the product listing; or

  • By separate agreement with the seller, the seller must provide confirmation to BRICOMAN.

Buyers must submit applications via the BRICOMAN mobile app.

Please note that if requested by BRICOMAN, the buyer must ship the item to the location designated by BRICOMAN within ten (10) calendar days after submitting the return request.

BRICOMAN will decide at its sole discretion whether to approve the refund or return request. The buyer acknowledges and agrees that BRICOMAN’s decision is final and binding and further covenants not to sue or assert any claim against BRICOMAN or its affiliates in relation to that decision.

If the buyer has filed a lawsuit against the seller, the buyer may provide BRICOMAN with an official notice from the competent authority requesting that BRICOMAN continue to hold the purchase amount until an official decision is made. BRICOMAN will decide at its sole discretion whether to continue holding the funds.

3. Preferred Seller Rights

If you are a Preferred Seller, BRICOMAN will notify you separately that you have been selected for the BRICOMAN Preferred Seller Program. If you wish to opt out of the program at any time, you must notify BRICOMAN in writing; otherwise, you will be deemed to have agreed to continue participating and accepted the terms of this Refund and Return Policy. BRICOMAN may suspend or remove any Preferred Seller from the program at its sole discretion.

BRICOMAN’s decision to approve refunds or returns under Section 2 is binding on the relevant Preferred Seller. Preferred Sellers agree to comply with and take all necessary measures to fulfill buyer refund or return requests approved by BRICOMAN.

For any refund or return request approved by BRICOMAN, BRICOMAN will notify the Preferred Seller by email and provide the relevant return items to the local address provided by the Preferred Seller (“Local Address”). If the Preferred Seller fails to provide a local address or fails to accept the returned goods within a reasonable period, BRICOMAN may dispose of the goods at its discretion, and the Preferred Seller will be deemed to have waived all rights to such goods. If the Preferred Seller does not notify BRICOMAN within seven (7) days of receiving the email notification (“Notification Period”), it will be deemed that the goods have been delivered, and the Preferred Seller agrees not to raise any claim or dispute regarding those goods.

Notwithstanding the above, items approved for refund or return at BRICOMAN’s sole discretion may not be returned to the Preferred Seller, who will be deemed to have forfeited all rights to such items.

If BRICOMAN receives returned goods but the items are refused by BRICOMAN, the goods will be delivered to the buyer’s address in accordance with Section 2.

If BRICOMAN approves a refund or return request, the Preferred Seller may appeal by submitting evidence to support their claim. If BRICOMAN upholds the appeal, it will pay all or part of the purchase price to the Preferred Seller. The seller expressly acknowledges and agrees that BRICOMAN’s decision is final, binding, and conclusive, and covenants not to sue or assert any claim against BRICOMAN or its affiliates regarding that decision.

4. Ordinary Seller Rights

For the purposes of this Refund and Return Policy, an ordinary seller is a seller who is neither a marketplace seller nor a Preferred Seller.

When BRICOMAN receives a buyer’s return and/or refund request, it will notify the seller in writing. Sellers may respond to buyer requests according to the steps provided in BRICOMAN’s written notice and must respond within the specified time (“Specified Time”). If BRICOMAN does not receive a response from the seller within the specified time, it will assume the seller has not responded and will continue evaluating the buyer’s request without further notice. BRICOMAN will review each seller’s response on a case-by-case basis and determine whether the buyer’s request is likely to succeed.

5. Return Conditions

To ensure a smooth return process, the buyer must return the item (including any accessories included with the item) in the same condition as received. Buyers are advised to take photos of the product upon receipt.

6. Responsibility

Regarding return shipping costs, if the return is due to the seller’s fault (e.g., damaged, defective, or incorrect delivery), the seller will bear the return shipping costs. If the buyer requests a return for personal reasons, the buyer must obtain the seller’s consent and bear the return shipping costs. In case of disputes over who is responsible for shipping costs, BRICOMAN will solely determine which party is responsible.

7. Refund

Buyers will only receive a refund once BRICOMAN receives confirmation from the seller that the returned item has been received. If BRICOMAN does not receive a response from the seller within the specified time, BRICOMAN may refund the buyer without further notice. Refunds will be made to the buyer’s designated credit/debit card or bank account, as applicable.

8. Buyer-Seller Communication

BRICOMAN encourages users to communicate directly with each other in case of transaction issues. As the transaction platform, buyers should contact the seller directly to resolve issues related to purchased items.
